So I sat down to Vlog the other night. As I said in my previous post, I was moving towards doing that. I felt it would be easier and faster way of actually getting my ideas out there. Well I will say this, it is less work! However it takes more time. Thus I will continue with the written word. I am going to try out a new theme. I love this theme, do not get me wrong but Wordpress has just put out a new one, thus I am going to see if it is better.
Now so that way this post actually has some relevance to the outside world, I will post a photograph that I took the other day of my family’s new puppy. I think it is one of my better, if not best, shots I have ever had.

No the image on the left is NOT the Portrait Photograph.
It is the first of its kind in a way. It is the first Presidential photograph that was taken with a non-film camera. That, in other words, is a digital camera. The picture was taken by Pete Souza. I thought this was neat as well as odd in a way. I think it is neat because there is another thing that is yet historical about Obama being President. It is odd because the true digital cameras have been around since 1991. Back then it cost thirteen grand, but that is nothing to an accomplished professional photographer. So both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush could have been photographed with a digital camera but for whatever reasons decided not to. I can understand why Bill Clinton may not have as the DSLRs were not a sure thing yet, but at the turn of the century I can remember definitely knowing what a Digital Camera was. You may also be wondering who the first President was to have their photograph taken according to the White House Website. It was James Polk who served the people of the United States from 1845-1849 as the 11th POTUS. Although John Quincy Adams, the 6th American President, had his picture taken too (and all Presidents after him). So there is a small history lesson! So do you want to see this Presidential Photo? Well it is quite large, 1916 × 2608 pixels to be exact. You can actually notice a little white hair on his suit and possibly a little white fuzzy on his right lapel. Yeah, the image is a bit big BUT if you are going to frame the photo and put it up or something, you really do want that. Well if you want the photo you can click here. Alternativley you can click here.
