The truth is there was nothing of interest to talk about, and I had a few personal items to attend to. Mainly homework, friends, and Resident Evil 5.

So to the real content of this post, the NBC television show Kings. I really dig this new show. Now I don’t really consider myself a religious man but this show still intrigues me. Religious folk have been happy to see the whole David vs. Goliath story arch. Many have offered that as the whole mandatory interest in the show and an opprotunity to shove religion down others throats. However I am intrigued to see how a true Monarchy in a post-modern world would fair. So far it has been interesting. To see one man have true power over his whole nation and a man who isn’t seen as a dictator is odd. There is still deciet and secrets, but it is incredibly fascinating. The story archs are also great. I am interested to see where this show is going to go. I have to DVR the show so I can’t promote the time or channel because I it just appears on my TV by Tuesday. I think it is on NBC on Sundays. I suggest you all to take a look.

I don’t know what annoys me more having homework over Spring Break, or the fact that my brain has totally shut down because I am on Spring Break and thus am finding it difficult to type up a paper that is due on Sunday night. I have been trying to get my sleep schedule back to “normal” instead of being awake during the same hours as a vampire would. It has made me not feel to well and I am definitally slowed by it.

I keep wanting to make a Vlog. But everytime I do I think of reasons not to do it. Even besides editing, I think of security reasons. I just don’t know if it is worth it. I think I could actually do it, but I just don’t know if I would feel comofortable about doing one. I have put some videos up on youtube but I don’t know if I want to share them with the viewers of this blog. They don’t have my face in it at all but I feel that everything (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc.) would be a connected and there would be ways for people to find out who I truly am and could steal my identity. So yeah, I am not sure if I would really want to do that.

I decided to delete my OLD blog today. For those of you who were around to read it, it was entitled RightWingDude.com. It was no longer needed. But like an Admiral to a ship in the Navy, or a fictional admiral to a  Battlestar in space, I just feel a bit sad. It served me well.

So this is day one. I MAY have multiple posts for a single day. So be on the lookout for that.

This finishes Daily Blog Vow 1.0 for Spring Break 2009.

I am on Spring Break. I am taking a vow to update this every day until I go back to school. I won’t start this until Thursday the 26th of March. Technically that is today except it is one in the morning so I don’t feel like doing anything now. Not that I am doing anything exciting like going to Cancun or anything. I actually plan on doing something better than that, hang out with good friends. I have a surprise or two for those who read the blog. Stay tuned.

Last night Mitt Romney appeared on Larry King Live. Most people probably didn’t watch, as they were more focused on President Barack Obama on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Romney offered commentary on the Tonight Show, by saying that it “probably isn’t the right time for it. I line up with Warren Buffett on this. I prefer to see the president focusing all of his time and energy on the economy.” Now, I am a HUGE fan of Mitt, but I have to disagree with him. He, and other politicians, have said it was wrong to fly to Los Angeles to do the show. However, I felt since he did comment on the economy, he was able to inform people on it. I watched the show with a relative who based on an analogy offered by Obama said that she understood the situation better. Now if this appearance gets people to see that, then I think it is good. Enough about that, as this isn’t the objective of this post.

Romney, an economic genius in his own right, commented on the status of the U.S. economy, and Obama’s handling of it. He thought that it was congresses fault for the AIG controversy. Romney stated he didn’t like the bill that throws the ninety percent tax on companies that give out bonuses to their employees. Now I can understand why he doesn’t like the bill. It does actually seem a bit unconstitutional but it is just punishment for these companies. Mitt is right, this is the fault of two. Both Washington and the companies themselves.

Romney also commented on Bush, Palin, Cheney, and a possible run for the 2012 presidency. Romney of course dodged that question. I still think he is going to run. Basically based on the fact that he didn’t say “no.” Most Republicans have called him the leader of the party as well. The fact that he is getting his face out there now, to me, shows that he is starting the publicizing of himself to get his face our there for a run. So far I like Barack Obama and what he has done overall, but if he runs up against Mitt Romney in 2012 I will probably vote Romney. After all, he did say some things in this interview that I like such as the whole GITMO thing that Cheney commented on.
